It's a love meme!

Because November is hard for lots of us, and in particular is something I find hard (my not-quite-month of mourning begins tomorrow, officially); because it's spring in the southern hemisphere and the days just keep getting shorter in the northern; because I talked to my counsellor yesterday about all of the shapes and forms that value takes.

This post will close to new nominations at the end of the month (because November), though I'll keep unscreening comments after that point if any new ones do come in.

River, you are my favorite person in this world and a hell of a lot of the ones next door, and I mean that with all my heart. Your creativity and compassion and humor are always inspiring, and I'm sorry for all the times I turned things into a complete fuckarow.

She is a lovely, musical poet who just so happens to be writing one of my favorite novels of all time. I am infinitely grateful for her friendship and for all she has brought to my life.
