The All Good Bookshop is a cooperatively owned community bookshop one borough over from me. In late April, they e-mailed:
I haven't been in touch with them to confirm whether they've still got copies available to donate, but if you are up for buying a copy (and donating one or both to Haringey!) I'd be very happy about it.
On a similar theme of "feeding people" I'd be grateful for donations to The Trussell Trust, who (1) support foodbanks around the UK and (2) campaign for the necessary changes to make foodbanks unnecessary.
Further afield, I understand that Helen Keller International do good work and are relevant to several interests in these here parts. (With thanks to
sebenikela for the pointer to them!)
We’ve teamed up with Haringey Council, Jack Monroe and Macmillan publishers to put together a special offer on Jacks fantastic book ‘Tin Can Cook: 75 Simple Store-cupboard Recipes’. If you buy a copy, we will donate a second copy to the Community Hub, which will be sent out with food parcels.

We have 500 copies to buy/donate
.
The book costs £6.99. You can buy one to keep and we will donate one on your behalf, or (if you’d prefer), you can donate both of them.
To buy one (or more), phone us on 07949 701 861 and we’ll take a payment over the phone by card. Alternatively, email us (control@allgoodbookshop.com) or tweet us (allgoodbookshop) with how many copies you’d like to buy. We’ll then send you the details so you can pay by paypal.
