Writing myself a list of things to get done in the next ~30 minutes.

0. Sensory soothing. Put on some white noise. [tick!]

1. Food. Go to kitchen. Get bowl + spoon. Get yoghurt out of fridge. Put some yoghurt into bowl. Put yoghurt back in fridge. Go to dining table. Put cake in bowl. Come back to bedroom. Put blackberries (bag down side of bed) in bowl. Consume food. (Fruit juice if feeling enthusiastic.) [tick!]

2. Shower. There's a towel in the bathroom. Dump pyjamas in laundry on way through to bathroom. You can probably manage once you're actually there? [tick!]

3. Clothes. It's not fantastically warm out so take one of the heavier pairs of clean trousers (notshorts) [tick!] - transfer everything from shortspockets [tick!]. Underwear on desk [tick!]. Fuck knows about binder [tick!]. Black pinstripe shirt is wearable, so do that [tick!]. Sandals. Jewelry & perfume [tick!].

Things I would like to get done but clearly don't have the cope to: get photo onto laptop [tick!], e-mail photo to relevant company (via looking up company contact info) [tick!]; call GP to attempt to rearrange appointment [tick!]; brush hair [tick!]; e-mail supervisor info she's asked for [tick!]; continue trying to work out wtf is going wrong with the server [... semi-tick!].

Things that need to get done today one way or another: getting into work for long enough to clean the labs [tick!]; getting info on xenoliths off my work computer to skim through here [tick!] (I. hate. IMAP.).

Do we go to institutions with the same hellish principles when it comes to disability? It sounds like we do!

Yep. Mine are good on some things but the "must self refer" thing kind of ruined my grades for the first term and a half. (Given that it was specific learning support, this... should have been something they thought of, right? That people with processing or functioning difficulties which effect learning/providing work might also effect their ability to fill in forms or get to the sole drop in session a week which was available with their class time? Surely this is an obvious thing to consider, especially if the person has declared that they take medication which knocks them out? Turns out no, it's not obvious.

[Cool, any way listed in the PM is fine, and feel free to add me on g-chat either temporarily or permanently if that's the easiest way with spoons. Just drop me a text or email to alert me)

As it is written, let it be done.

(The middle portion of your post here is not unlike the 'to-do story' drabbles I used to write over at [community profile] do_it — writing the specifics can really help when executive_function fails.)

What's wrong with IMAP? It seems to work OK here. Or aren't you talking about email?
