some things make a post

1. ongoing Hands of the Emperor shrieking (have just made it to Interlude #1)
2. we got SO MANY FIGS off my mother's tree today!!! I am DELIGHTED and have eaten (so far) two of them. there are More.
3. I have also been sent home with Apples (freshly acquired from the tree or its vicinity, for dehydrating, batch #1) and Blackberries (picked last year, frozen) and Basil (in a pot, superfluous to requirements, maybe I won't kill this one as rapidly as usual...).
4. the Lovage was Full Of Seeds so I spent a pleasant twenty minutes or so rubbing seeds into a suitable receptacle while continuing to read A Book. (people keep giving me lovage seedlings and I keep killing them, but maybe if I have 100+ seeds the attrition will matter less...)
5. TADPOLES. Froglets. Wiggly taily things with rubbish little legs. (Also we saw some actual frogs.)
6. baby brother was disposing of a copy of Atomic Habits. I asked him about it dubiously and was handed it, so I suppose I might now... read it... and at least have a basis for rolling my eyes slightly every time in comes up in the bujo/fountain pen/etc world...
