i genuinely cannot think of a single way in which my ability to get a 2.i in ocean carbonate chemistry With Examples has any bearing AT ALL on my ability to do high-temperature isotope geochemistry

i am only taking it because my department is kind of shit at dealing with people who need to take a year out after their third year

I got a surprising amount done between 3.30am and 5.30am! Or whenever full sunrise plus a bit was. And some of it has STUCK. And I am now out of the woods of ocean carbonate chemistry and into the scrublands of bistable climate states, which is vastly preferable. :-)
