• Unimportant bleeding has yielded a referral to the bowel cancer pathway. I got the text message with the THIS IS HAPPENING, EXPECT A LETTER FROM THE HOSPITAL something like fifteen minutes before the HERE ARE YOUR APPOINTMENT DETAILS phone call. (I am not at all concerned about it being cancer, to be clear, given all the various givens.) Thus I am expecting to be summoned for a colonoscopy, but hey, maybe it'll fix the anaemia? (You did indeed all Tell Me So!)
• Have been resting more, on account of how stridently I've been telling other people to rest more, including taking Pilates from Three Times A Week to aiming for two full sequences maximum ("get on the mat and take ten breaths" still viable minimum and indeed I am still doing that three times a week). Today my body did a thing I'd been telling myself to expect to take a year. I didn't do it well and there is a lot of tidying that needs to happen, but... BODY DID A THING. If nothing else this is useful reinforcement of My Advice To Others...
• Since getting the compression socks I have had one (1) serious wobble... on the one (1) day I didn't wear them. I am a convert, I continue to consider revisiting the potential benefits of a PoTS diagnosis, and I'm even grudgingly coming to realise that the limited-run designs make a lot of sense for keeping track of what you bought when for a product that reckons it starts to lose efficacy after about 50 washes...
