kaberett(I am really sorry about how much I'm posting. I'm working on cutting down on that.)
- photographer-bro carries out photography project on couchsurfing, decides he's also going to put together a series of pictures of grandmothers and the food they cook when Feeding Someone Properly - photos are great, subjects are fascinating, I'm grossed out by some of the ways he approaches it (like SELLING THEIR RECIPES, ugh)
- Ode to a Shipping Label (image only, and sorry, I cannot face doing a transcript)
- Onsind are apparently a really cool punk band with a really positive and constructive attitude to being called out for cissexism. I have not yet listened to them because I have not yet worked out how to make Bandcamp play nice with Flashblock (yes, I have added an exception).
- staranise answers some psych-related questions, including a description of Narrative Therapy, and a little bit on finding a counsellor who works for you (I need to write up my list of things I do...)

ODE TO A SHIPPING LABEL transcript

It started out as UTF8,
(universal since '98),
but the program only knew latin1,
and changed little ó to "ó" for fun.
A second program saw the "ó"
and said, "I know HTML entity!"
So "ó" was smartened to "ó"
and passed on through happily.
Another program saw the tangle
(more precisely, ampersands to mangle)
and thus the humble "ó"
became "ó"
[Which is precisely what's on the shipping label that constitutes the bottom part of the image.]
