nauseating dysphoria.
Apr. 25th, 2013 09:27 amThis is... suprisingly bad. I have been up for an hour. I need to be at the hospital in 20 minutes. I am really, really struggling to get dressed, because dysphoria. I could really, really do without this.
[... and three changes of clothes later I have _just about_ got into something I can contemplate walking out the door in. fffff.]
edit: and now I am feeling better! Because the pain clinic appointment with the nurses - unlike last time, with the consultant - involved listening to me, not patronising me, and working with me. And they were running a bit late, so it didn't matter that I was running a bit late! And then I went to the station and renewed my railcard and wrote down "Msc" as my title, and the person behind the counter double-took and then enquired about it, and I said "it's a gender-neutral title", and they apologised for their ignorance and then we got on with our lives and it was all very pleasant! And then I somewhat decadently bought tasty tasty Wensleydale & carrot chutney sandwiches from M&S, and now I am sat in the sun streaming through my open bay windows and eating them and generally feeling much less at odds with the world.
