[growth, migraine] today I did not get the chickenwire over the rest of the strawberry bed

... but I did get the chickenwire to the plot, courtesy of A; and I did replace the trellises over the top of squash bed #1 with said chickenwire, for increased light; and we acquired and then dumped around the edge of my plot a whole lot of wood offcuts and So Much Sharp Sand (to be shared! thankfully. so much.)

And: there are now tiny broad bean pods; through weeding a bed in preparation for putting tomatoes into it at some point in the next few days I discovered that some of my oca did actually overwinter successfully despite the Extremely Cold (by our standards!) Snap; up until we deposited the sand (in rubble sacks) and wood (loose) and ran, the plot was really starting to look like I might actually know what I'm doing with and have a plan for it; and I am still so so so relieved to be enjoying sunshine and light and being outside.
