DONE DONE DONE
Jan. 4th, 2014 01:37 pmHouse. We have put up our art and we have cooked food and located the washing machine and I've unpacked most of my books and perfume and jewelry onto shelves, and - I thought it was going to be hellish and it was so much less bad than I expected.
And then we got drunk & curled up to socialise for an hour or so, and then we went to bed, and I was rocked to sleep by the trains, and - yes.
We do not yet have Internet access working. An engineer might be required. But I will be online from work and available via SMS, so.
(I am so glad this is over, and so glad that I get to build a home, and I feel - so much - as though I'm only playing at this, as though I don't really get to keep it. Maybe it will settle in. Maybe I will learn how security feels.)
