Okay, so, prodrome is "inexplicably feeling way tireder than I ought, plus cognitive impairment, plus loss of appetite", and I should probably take codeine once I clock that's what's going on and not wait until the photosensitivity (yes it's photosensitivity) kicks in.

This time I am taking the Buscopan pre-emptively.

My prodrome is very similar, and for once I remembered to take the damn sumtriptan early yesterday, and managed to avoid the pain. I hope you do too.

The decision tool MyGuy (also has migraines) recommends: if I'm thinking about taking a triptan, then it's the right time to take it. Cause they work much better the earlier I take them.
