curious if you know the BSL for "jewish". the ASL one is quite horrid and I p much refuse to use it.

There are several; one that has been largely retired (but I understand is still sometimes used particularly by older BSL users) involves reference to nose shape; the one we've been taught sketches out the shape and location of twisted payot (though that's not the sign that either Spread the Sign or Sign BSL gives, huh).

*nods* ASL does the payot thing too which to me is unpleasant. but still boatloads better than the nose thing ofc.

(one of the people in my BSL class is Jewish in the sense that they are actually, like, observant and shit, unlike me.)
