It's looking like I'll definitely be at this end of the country on Sunday. Anything I can bring beyond conversation and company?

I think I can manage to slip a bottle of something into my backpack ;)

Do need a contact number if I'm going to do the stand in front of Baron's Court and wait to be fetched thing! (I've checked and I can't get to your contact details post)

What is Seelkuchen? Internet is failing me re: translation... Rest of foodlist sounds gloriously cozy :)

Can follow the practical bits of the conversation while only comprehending the English... although yes, I bet it's more fun if bilingual. I can pick out juuust enough of the words that I'll likely come back to it later with-dictionary though, for practice!

(I am going to be able to talk about food waayyy before I'm able to talk about anything else in German ^^; )

Aha! I like it. Some of the pics I turned up in searching - I figured out the Faschingskrapfen link - look rather like the large, very yummy, non-fried doughnuts the local cake shop does, though that discussion you linked to seems to suggest they may technically be Berliners.

As JFK said, 'Ich bin ein Berliner'!

Could you post some pictures of your food & mood (i guess i really mean atmosphere? sometimes words fail) of this day at some point? I wish I could be there but. Pictures bring me connection. If you don't mind, but if you do that's okay!
