Dear Yuletide Author

Thank you so much for writing for me! I am delighted and grateful. :-)
In general I'm a massive queermo and very much in favour of Queers Being Awesome and Trans Folk Being Awesome and Ladies Being Awesome etc etc. I also have a lot of feelings about families lost and found and chosen. I'm not terribly interested in sex (er, in general, though also reading about it); I don't object but please do not feel obliged! By mid-winter I tend to be feeling a bit miserable so happy endings are much appreciated, but getting there the hard way isn't a problem.
I am sure I will love whatever it is you write! I am only too pleased for you to follow your own muse and will adore the result. (Tell me if I'm being too effusive?) However, slightly more specific notes on requests follow if you want something to bounce off.
The cracky TV crossover: Art Bell (OB) is maybe Marcus Bell (Elementary)'s uncle or something??? Maybe Art is how Marcus got into policing??? Maybe they're not related at all and get really sick of people assuming two black cops with the same surname must be relatives??? While obviously OB is located in Toronto in at least some respects, the Word Of God is that it is set in Generica, so uh basically anything that involves those two being exasperated bros (and possibly facepalming a lot over Sherlock) would be amazing. Bonus points for Ms Hudson playing a key role as expert consultant, and also for Clyde. Or, you know, cross-continent travel Because Reasons is also good! (Also, Andre Bell is so unimpressed about this whole thing, heh.)
Craft Sequence: um basically I love all of this. I adore the brown queer ladies, I adore the religion-as-difficult-and-tangible, I love the kids, I love the slices of life-- um, I can't even with requests honestly, there isn't anything in particular I want except more. Having said which the infosec/security engineering of wards (and security wars, and white hat vs black hat etc) turns out to be something I'd love someone else to do worldbuilding on, if it catches your fancy. ;)
Elementary: AAAAH FOUND FAMILIES. Keeping people safe! Sherlock is broken and imperfect and he knows it and he is desperate to keep the people he loves safe even though he doesn't quite know what either "love" or "safe" means, and he comes to realise that he can't keep people safe and just... the mess it makes of him. And JOAN'S FACE and how she interacts with him and the ways in which she decides whether or not to tolerate his shit on this occasion while being a highly skilled and very competent individual of her own, and aaaaah
Imperial Radch: I have so many feelings about (loss of) identity and what it means to make decisions and what it means to be an individual level. Honestly anything from "Anaander Mianaai's origin story incl how the hell she managed to take over" (... for which I have some headcanon but would love to meet other people's tbh) to "Breq is grumpily domestic" fluff (I'm down with Seivarden entering clientage of convenience or even honestly a clientage of ~twu wuv~ with Breq, but would rather not have Breq sleep with people; also Mercy of Kalr and Breq are bffs!!! also Awn's sister!!! ... accidental traid-shipping whoops??) and so on and so forth. Pretttty much anything would make me squeal and flail with delight.
Orphan Black: Felix and Siobhan are my absolute favourites. In terms of total id-fic, I would love Felix coming out (to Sarah as well, I guess?) and Siobhan just being totally okay with it in spite of the whole Irish Catholic thing and then everyone getting on with their lives (and probably Felix and Sarah being bratty teenagers and adoring each other through everything); however I appreciate that coming-out stories are kind of a massive cliche so by all means skip. I'm a science grad student so predictably also love Cosima to bits; but really this entire show is about found family for me and I can't imagine anything I'd dislike. (I do live with chronic severe depression and PTSD and multiple disabilities, so I'd appreciate content notes for anything involving non-canon suicide or self harm (or canon self-harm if graphic) while being entirely willing to read same. Similarly I'm likely to be a bit edgy about anything that focusses on Cosima's illness in gory external detail, and am also edgy about Magic Cures.)
Scale-Bright: ... multi-generational domestic fluff involving building families? IDK maybe "building families" isn't fluff, heavens knows it isn't always easy, but -- yes. This feels cozy and warm and kind to me, predominantly.
The Scorpio Races: AHHHH THE LOVE BETWEEN A PERSON AND THEIR FLESH-EATING GRUMPY HORSE <333 CLIFFS AND STORMS AND ISOLATION AND HEATH. Again I'm pretty much in this one for the fluff and... don't really have specifics, beyond "it can has horse and cooking plz", so. (One of the things I love about The Wolves Of Mercy Falls, right, is that the characters cook for each other and eat together and food is important and an offering and social, not just fuel, and -- yes.)
Thank youuuuuuuu <333
