vital functions

Writing. The reference manual for the crew department for the LRP I'm volunteering with is taking shape. I am inching closer to being able to make it A's problem at least until such a time as he punts it back to me.
Cooking. Bibimbaaaaaap. The dolsot was an excellent investment. Pizza dough still not Right.
Observing. GOLDFINCHES. WE HAVE GOLDFINCHES. THERE IS AN ACTUAL PAIR OF ACTUAL GOLDFINCHES. We had a pair of goldfinches in the hedge two flats ago -- and about ninety seconds' walk away -- so we knew they were there but they kept not being here AND NOW THEY ARE and I am DELIGHTED (and so is Adam).
AND. There were a bunch of wee fluffy things that looked like Lots More Coal Tits Than We're Used To, Especially All At Once, and yep that's a whole passel of juvenile coal tits. Which is also delightful!
And then, this evening, lovely lovely lovely crescent moon And Bat.
