No, I think that, while a tad blunt and definitely profane, it sum's up a whole lot of meaning in a short succinct phrase.

Or pointing out that the American system is all about competition, which is great if you can afford insurance. Shorter waiting times, choice, all the things money can buy. If you can't... well, y'know, that is competition on an individual scale.

…though there is a difference between a system, on the one hand, that's free at point of use with an internal market in goods and services behind that provision and, on the other hand, a system where patients have to negotiate their own insurance policies and pay their own premiums.
