But then. Today. Reddit happened.

Specifically.

This is the TACCIA Miyabi Empress Maki-e Honey Bee Limited Edition (where I'm linking to Goulet because they, unlike the actual TACCIA website, have actual photos of it.)

It has subsequently been pointed out to me that Fossils in the Sky also exists.

I don't actually want any of these pens! I've never tried using a Sailor King of Pen but everything I have read about them leaves me, at best, lukewarm! My whole entire soul rebels at the concept of an £850 cartridge/converter pen, which is what the KoP -- which these are based on -- is!

Oh goodness the bee pen is *gorgeous*. I think I might be afraid to use (drop/lose) it, but would love to pet it gently and stare at all the details. (Also amused that I went poking through the other designs and, yep, also went ‘ooh the peacock one is pretty too’ :p )

Idk about the aesthetics of the Great Court pen personally (though that review is great) but the Rosetta Stone Black otoh……
