(hoooooooooooome. after Thursday's disastrous medical appointment Adam took me to Ruby Violet, located conveniently nearby the hospital, and then we went HOME and had LUNCH and PACKED THE CAR and. went. to a LARP. where A was running a crew department and I had offered to help out. I have spent A Lot of the subsequent time sat -- masked, FFP2 -- in a glorified gazebo doing customer service for a lot of people and I... actually really enjoyed myself? I really enjoyed myself and saw several folk I hadn't seen in far too long and crucially I did not spend the entire weekend brooding. AND NOW I AM ONCE AGAIN HOME.)
Reading. The Silmarillion! More progress with my ridiculous multi-coloured notes.
Eating. Ruby Violet: damson & soured cream; salted caramel & almond brittle.
In a field: a whole lot of food-stall toasties, burritos, and veg pakora.
Exploring. A Field; A. & I also went for a walk around some of the back streets between Euston and King's Cross when our safety margin for arriving at my appointment on time wound up actually leaving us with nearly 90 minutes to kill.
Creating. I dyed A again! For the first time in a Very Long Time! We had run out of yellow! I am not thrilled with the job, but he is enjoying being bright colours again, so that's the important part.
Growing. None of the tomatoes died while I was away! One (I think) of the Purple Ukraine (tomato) seeds has come up! The yacon continue yacon! Also the basil survived being potted up rather later than I had originally intended to.
Observing. Stars! An excellent outside-of-London night sky. Alas we did not detect any bats.
