[food] today has mostly been marmalade

I insisted last year that I wasn't going to be making any marmalade this year, and then Five Kilos Of Blood Oranges... happened... and now I have a pan of proto-blood-orange-and-cardamom-marmalade on the hob. I only did one kilo of fruit and even so it ALWAYS takes me far longer than I expect or than seems at all plausible to process all the peel.

Anyway. Unless I have made a hash of things by including the lemon peel (I'm not sure if that's what made previous batches bitter?) I have... some... marmalade waiting to be squished, and then tomorrow I'll add sugar to it and boil it up and jar it, at a time when I am actually willing to leave the house sufficient to fetch some more jars in from the garage...
