kaberettSecond vaccine today! ... less than a month after the first one! what the FUCK, postcode lottery. Maybe in another two weeks I will breathe a little easier still.
Last period, I actually started bleeding overnight, and woke up groggy and a bit wretched and a bit photosensitive (maybe) but... also feeling like I'd probably slept through the actual headache? And, well, that was the first post-hand-in Obvious Migraine Trigger, so maybe it didn't happen after all and with the PhD stress removed they'd stop the way everyone kept encouraging me to believe they would...?
... nah. In more or less precisely the way I believed they wouldn't, sigh. Unless I managed to nocebo effect myself into having one right before I started getting Characteristic Ovarian Pain.
Obviously in the moment I still didn't believe it was A Migraine, and I think I need to Talk To Somebody about my reluctance to take triptans until I'm Sure it's Definitely A Migraine (which, in the absence of aura, means "the headache kicking in", because photosensitivity doesn't "count", sigh, but also more to the point I will stubbornly ignore it for as long as possible if that's the threshold at which I take drugs), but. Hey. More data is better data, or something.
