Dec. 8th, 2020 11:27 pmSecond physio appointment today! And probably the last. Following on from the previous one, I did indeed have increased stability and reduced puffiness and pain; I've been given a few more progressions and told I should come back in the new year if it's still not feeling right, but otherwise they don't feel the need to make me any further appointments, and honestly I'm very happy with that.
Exercises:
- keep doing the squishy feet, seated heel raises, resistance band work (with progressions as before, but also, do resistance band on the left as well since it's helping so much)
- standing heel raises:
-- go up on both, go down on one foot only (both sides)
-- eventually, go up and then down again on one, once it feels properly stable and I'm not hitching on the down of the one-foot
-- with reducing amounts of stabilisation from proprioceptive feedback
- keep going with the balance work
- keep just. doing all of this. as and when I notice or have a moment or what-have-you.
