[movement] an observation on Pilates

So Pilates is a movement practice that does a whole bunch of working your core muscles, right, especially your lower abdominals and your pelvic floor.
I have been noting with wry amusement, these past few weeks, that my poor body interprets any and all sensations from that general internal area as ???PAIN???
On the one hand, this is completely understandable, and it's doing its best!
On the other, this means that on top of everything else I'm having to work through the learned response of Lying Very Still Until It Goes Away.
I assume I'll manage to retrain my nervous system eventually by loudly thinking AH, YES, THIS, THIS FEELS RIGHT AND GOOD, but in the meantime I Demand Pity.
