Health stuff

DLA reapplication time is coming up. Therefore, some notes on my health over the past week or so.
Physical stuff. I've done physio for my legs more days than not this year (this is a Marked Improvement). Yesterday the solid tyre on one of my front casters popped off; I ended up walking 1.5 miles in the evening. Today: my knee is swollen, warm, and throbbing whatever I do with it; I'm limping slightly when walking around the room; and having slept for 10 hours I collapsed for a three-hour nap this afternoon.
Mental stuff. The NHS changed its guidelines as of late 2011 such that 40mg is now the maximum dose they'll prescribe of citalopram due to concerns about cardiac arrythmias. The GP I saw didn't believe I was scoring 14 on the PHQ-9 until she tried it on me and... I scored 14: one of these days I might put some effort into learning how not to present as high-functioning in medical situations. She was also not keen on prescribing me temazepam (no, I didn't ask for it by name) on account of its being ~addictive~; so I'm just going to keep as-and-when-ing with a friend's spares (and bumping my citalopram up to 50mg for the next two weeks with my own spares). Some friends have introduced the tag #TransDocFail on Twitter and I am twitching about it; I should probably send up a chase-y e-mail to PALS about the letter that was going to go into the post any day now, honest, some weeks ago.
fuckin' bodies, man.
