• Springer Verlag academic text(book)s (via sebenikela): wide variety of topics, where I've grabbed a mix of chemistry and sociology and psychology and programming and physics
  
• Project Muse (ditto): a frankly... overwhelming... number of academic presses (with a landing page that makes it clear when the texts will be available for download until)
  
• An Introduction to the Rock-Forming Minerals, or -- as we collectively refer to it -- "DHZ" (via my supervisor): this has pretty much everything you could ever need or want to know about the structure and properties and identification of, well, the rock-forming minerals

Holy cow. I just downloaded 29 (!) textbooks from that Springer excel, and I'm only a quarter through (after first filtering to ransack the stats package, then just skimming through the whole list).

I'll keep going tomorrow when I'm more fresh. Goodness; this feels like being drunk in a free stuff banquet with no weight limit to restrain me.

I downloaded a couple to check the spreadsheet links were good, then put it aside until tomorrow. Figure I'll hit up the CompSci, Math and Stats, and odd bits and pieces that catch my eye.
