• Springer Verlag academic text(book)s (via sebenikela): wide variety of topics, where I've grabbed a mix of chemistry and sociology and psychology and programming and physics
  
• Project Muse (ditto): a frankly... overwhelming... number of academic presses (with a landing page that makes it clear when the texts will be available for download until)
  
• An Introduction to the Rock-Forming Minerals, or -- as we collectively refer to it -- "DHZ" (via my supervisor): this has pretty much everything you could ever need or want to know about the structure and properties and identification of, well, the rock-forming minerals

Amazon also have a bunch of school-age textbooks up for free, from reception through A-Level. I grabbed a couple just to see how the syllabus has moved on. https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?node=21173577031

Also kids fiction, and a bunch of classics such as Treasure Island and Moby Dick.

It's not quite as easy to access as the links are buried in an excel sheet, but it may be more comprehensive as big as the list in that first link is, I'm not sure it's all 408 books here. And there are additional links for German language academic books, and for German language emergency nursing texts.

Holy cow. I just downloaded 29 (!) textbooks from that Springer excel, and I'm only a quarter through (after first filtering to ransack the stats package, then just skimming through the whole list).

I'll keep going tomorrow when I'm more fresh. Goodness; this feels like being drunk in a free stuff banquet with no weight limit to restrain me.

I downloaded a couple to check the spreadsheet links were good, then put it aside until tomorrow. Figure I'll hit up the CompSci, Math and Stats, and odd bits and pieces that catch my eye.

I admit I was wondering what the hell Group Theory was doing categorized under Physics & Astronomy rather than math, then saw the subtitle was Applications to the Physics of Condensed Matter and all was made clear. XD
