It also strikes me that they've ruled out the possibility of senior service personnel who are also DBE etc.

They so need a TEXT BOX. good lord, why do people attempt complete lists like this.

(many many things are missing; including combinations, so it's just a all round RUBBISH list)

I found a book from 1840 that mentions a Revd Rabbi Salomon L Rapoport. Quite plausible that he could be trying to open a Nationwide account in 2019: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=p5oFAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA8&lpg=PA9&dq=%22the+Revd+Rabbi%22&source=bl&ots=vP4HA5qM8O&sig=ACfU3U0O9zu8voYx3IG_GXKyxbEq0gEuaA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjVsrXJsoPmAhUkUBUIHdtmDQUQ6AEwAXoECAoQAQ#v=onepage&q=%22the%20Revd%20Rabbi%22&f=false

(Although I can only find one reference to this title; it does seem odd.)

Not only did they clearly pull this off several lists, I don't think a human who understood what they were doing helped select the lists. Never mind that I don't think "Able Seaman" or "Librarian" are courtesy titles, a human would have noticed that no one's title is "Messrs."

I have to say, "The Revd Lord" in the context of a building society reminds me of the song (to the tune of John Brown's Body) which goes

Jesus takes his money to the Bank of Montreal
Jesus takes his money to the Bank of Montreal
Jesus takes his money to the Bank of Montreal
Jesus saves, Jesus saves, Jesus saves.

The Reverend Dom is pretty good too.

"Contessa De", however, isn't.

I wonder how many of their customers or prospective customers go by Reverend Mo Prioress, vs how many want to go by Mx.

Though I do see how having a 400 entry drop-down that's 20-ish characters wide *saves database space* vs. having a space of that same width on every customer.

Doesn't mean it's the right thing to do, but it's a choice I could naively defend (badly).
