  • go to Kew. Always. Let me know if you want me to get you (and a third party!) into Kew for free.
  • the Barbara Hepworth exhibit at Tate Britain (until 25th October)
  • probably a general wander around the Tate Modern? I'm increasingly clearly Into modern sculpture and am trying to clarify my tastes further
  • I am caving and buying myself a membership to the Natural History Museum; anyone want to be got in to any of the exhibits there? (Probably going to see the Natural Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit - until 31st August)
  • ... which means I'm also going to want to go see the Coral Reefs exhibit.
  • and I'm going to see Much Ado at the Globe on the 7th of September with [personal profile] me_and (if anyone wants to join in groundling-ing)

Holler if interested in joining in on any of those :-)

Take me with you to Much Ado! (I wish.) I loved seeing Midsummer Night's Dream there as a groundling.

I'll be in town August 27th/28th/29th, and would love to go potter around the Natural history if it's open dinner-time?

OMG that sounds great, let's do that for sure! (You're also welcome to come visit me at Google if you like? Though I think Friday is 'no dinner' day, alas.) Should I do / book anything in advance? The Coral Reef exhibit looks pretty interesting too.

Ah! Cool ^_^ I really love gradient yarns, or faded blues/greens - anything that works with red-brown hair. I... will measure my skull later on because I just put my hair in a bun and I am interested in seeing how long it stays that way ^.^;

Forgot to measure head; have now done so, answer is 22" / 56 cm. Just checking, we still good for the 29th & museum highjinks? (I fly out next weekend, am trying to batch my planning early ^.^; )

You're right, the Late is on Friday the 28th not the 29th ^.^; Does that work?

As for yarn, my favourite was Sirdar Crofter DK Yarn, 50g, Bracken 050 - it looks like heather ^.^

Probably more like two - by brim do you mean like, sticking out? If so, no, plain.

Hmm. I'll be right by London Victoria train station (goog office), but I don't know which way you're coming from? Might make most sense to meet at the museum. What sort of time were you thinking?

I finish work When I Feel Like essentially, but 5pm is totally reasonable for me to leave, so a bit earlier is fine if you'd like to food? My eating preferences are 'food (shrimp is not food)', so any eating place you pick should work for me ^.^;

Make it 5:30 to leave some navigation fail space, and sold!

I do not! I have a UK number atm - 07481239495 - which you can text and then I'll have yours?

I'm confused...I'd thought the Natural History museum was free? Or did I just forget having to pay when you took me there two years ago?

Also, was it two years ago...? I guess that means you're graduating next spring and I'm going to fail to visit while you're still in London? *frowns*

Ah. Shows how bad I've been at paying attention, apparently. Good luck with sanity! Anyway, I'm hoping to visit you and D in England next summer if you'll have me and if I somehow magically have a job that gives me both the income for international travel and the free time for a trip. The chances of that, honestly, don't seem very good, but we'll see.

I would definitely be up for Much Ado if I was in the area. I love that play. (It's why my cat is Beatrice.)

Oooh I want to go to Kew sometime? Have only been the once w/my mom (when magnolias were blooming *__* -- wouldn't mind going to see ginkgo stuff turning yellow). & also I would love to see the wildlife photog exhibit -- tho would have to be last half of August, b/c moving this week, then a week later going on holiday. >_< (... I hope the rest of this summer doesn't suck. I hope this flatshare doesn't fall thru at the last minute?!/???)

MUCH ADO IS MY FAVORITE. FAVORITE FAVORITE FAVORITE. (i find it odd how much i love branagh's and whedon's movie versions, which is to say, both quite a huge bit and also somehow equally, probably because they are so very, very different.) It's like the one regularly-performed Shakespeare that I've never managed to actually see a stage play of though. SADNESS. SUCH SADNESS. PLEASE REPORT WITH GREAT JOY HOW AWESOME IT WAS SO THAT I MAY LIVE THROUGH YOU VICARIOUSLY.
