Whoops, I appear to be planning a weekend in London

So! I really, really want to go to the Lashings of Ginger Beer panto on Friday. I'm busy from Sunday lunchtime onwards. This means I want (a) a place to crash on Friday & Saturday nights, and (b) people to do stuff with.

Caveats:

• I'm not exactly a witty and sparkling conversationalist at the moment
  
• if we use the Tube, there are some things I'll need you to be aware of, and I'll need you to act as a carer in a couple of minor ways
  
• museums are awesome, but only if they have wheelchairs to loan out & you're okay with the possibility of pushing me

The spare room here is available, but may not be ideal as we still don't have an upstairs bathroom, and the stairs between the ground floor and first floor are quite steep. But it's yours if you want it!

I am unlikely to want to do much if any going out though since last weekend was a bit exhausting, I've got a lot to do this week, and so this weekend I'm going to need some time sitting around doing nothing.

I am muddling along trying to work out whether I'm going to be in Cambridge on the Friday night (and therefore only need a room on the Saturday night) after all. Thank you so much for the offer - can I get back to you once definite?

I'm not much use re. somewhere to stay, unfortuantely (one day I will be living in London proper, one day), but I will be at the panto and so will hopefully see you there!

I really want to go to that panto too. I'm sure you could stay here: it's a straightforward two-bus trip from Camden if you'd rather not tube.

Thanks hugely for the offer of a place to stay. In fact I have been reminded that there's Stuff I Need To Do in Cambridge on Saturday morning, so I might see if I can get lifts to & from the panto, then come down properly on the train on Saturday afternoon. Would crashing at yours on the Saturday work? If not - I will see you at Lashings anyway! :-)

The help I need with the Tube boils down to "walk behind me when getting onto escalators; be prepared for me to stop suddenly at the top of downwards-escalators; be aware I might need to stop and cling to the wall as the train leaves the platform."

I'm afraid I won't be in the house myself on Saturday evening. I could still give you the spare key on Friday night and you'd be welcome to stay.

There is the added benefit, that you would be spared the cacophony of thundering snores through the bedroom wall, as I will be trundling to Somerset* on Friday, and returning Sunday afternoon.

Also: Lashings of Ginger Beer... If khalinche takes you, she will introduce you to a member of the cast: sashagoblin, who is as mad as a box of frogs and quite, quite delightful.


Note, also, that Amazonia is a honkted house.
