Symptoms log: 4 weeks on 10mg citalopram
Jan. 29th, 2012 10:26 amThe fatigue has lessened a bit, but I'm still very unsteady on my feet. Since last time, my nose has developed CONSTANT MILD NOSEBLEED such that its innards feel really, really uncomfortable.
It's not made any noticeable difference to my mood, not that we especially expected it to, but now I've seen my endo consultant maybe we can move forward with ramping up the dose.

Date: 2012-01-29 04:07 pm (UTC)That's a side-effect worth notifying - 'unusual bleeding' is listed as under 'severe side effects', and your GP or consultant needs to know about it.
It may be transient. It may be trivial. If the meds work, it may be tolerable - there are very few side-effects worse than untreated depression - but that's not a decision to be taken lightly, or without qualified advice. Especially if you have other symptoms or other conditions associated with blood loss and anaemia.
