... to be titled "This didn't annoy me.", with possible subcategories of "this book only annoyed me a bit" and "this annoyed the shit out of me but to my bafflement I still appear to extremely impatient for the sequel to come out".

Brought to you by once again finding myself describing Max Gladstone as "not annoying", when it might be more informative to say "he's writing about trans stuff and recovery from serious injury stuff and he just keeps getting it right to the extent that I had to reread to be sure I'd correctly understood the entire lack of awful, and then I burst into tears on the celeriac".

Just so you know, I was so fully expecting that last sentence to end "...and then I burst into tears on the bus", that when I read what you'd actually written I briefly wondered how you traveled by celeriac.

This seems like an excellent way to approach a review blog! (*g* My Ginny's approach to reviewing/rating books starts from a baseline of "if she finished it, that alone tells you plenty about whether she thinks it was worth her time", so that aspect of reviewing is very familiar to me. ^_^)

I'd be interested in reading your reviews, whether on another blog or within this journal. :) Urgh so...if you did you would have support is my point.

It sounds cool, if you have the time and energy for it.

(I've read the first Max Gladstone but not the second and third, and am sitting here wondering about the celeriac but not asking because I want to find out for myself.)

I'm torn between wondering why a separate blog would be necessary for this, and wondering if celeriac needs salt.
