  • visit the Tower of London (probably just wandering round the outside) while it's covered in ceramic poppies
  • do some slightly more serious wandering around the parks (gardens!)
  • bimble off to Kew for an afternoon
  • museums various, and also art galleries, because having got the hang of the thing in Musee d'Orsay I kind of want to have another go
  • Proms various, list available on request, mostly the Russian/Bohemian stuff because I am not at all predictable
  • blackberrying in Hyde Park
  • ... probably some other things? Currently I am on too little codeine topped up with much more alcohol than I have in the average month (because it is my mother's birthday and I hadn't registered how low the opiate supply in my go-bag was getting and there were two bottles of really nice New Zealand wine plus champagne) and like clearly this is super-responsible and wouldn't upset my GPs at all, but on the upside I hurt less! Will attempt to be more coherent... later.

I would be up for museuming or art gallery-ing, especially if you have suggestions on specific things to see -- sometimes I feel overwhelmed at the idea of actually picking something to go look at. Also Kew Gardens might be nice, idk?

I want very much to go to the Science Museum, probably in the week or two post-NineWorlds, but not at a weekend because busy then. (Probably also with Ellie depending on if/when she can take time off work.) Is that a too restrictive list of possibilities?

Put me down for a "definitely", then :) Can we sort out details after I've finished moving house and hopefully have organising-brain again?

Oh, also the Ice Age Animal exhibit at the Natural History Museum! That costs extra Money, but I'd really like to see it.

...and in both places I will probably also get sucked into the gift shop vortex. They have excellent gift shops. Full of excellent things like upside-down empty lightbulbs you can PUT THINGS IN. And cuddly dinosaurs of types which I DO NOT YET OWN. (I'm a child.)

In Dorset? Devonian, actually.

Blackberrying! And I really, really want to go to the Tower of London again- I went round it when I was tiny with Dad a few times, and devised a plot to steal or free the ravens (or both, because clipping their wings IS CHEATING AT ORACULAR BIRDS)

I like the outside most- I would like to go in again, but suspect I need to pick a particular friend with whom to do that. We could count ravens!

(I have a fully fledged phobia of
- Cathedrals
-Old architecture in the original stone without paint or finish, unless it is marble and safe
-old places where I know bad things happened.
I probably need to drag my best mate and tell him that I may end up needing to hold his hand during a panic attack or when triggered. (Gods know why I have a full on trigger response to things I have never directly experienced, but I read a lot of kid's medieval history when badly bullied, so maybe it's that).

I would love to accompany you to these things, particularly parks and museums. And Kew Gardens yessss. The Tower would be pretty cool too.
