... I am getting the hang of LaTeX. :-) Titlepage, abstract, sections, bibliography/references and tables (with wrapping text and multicolumn cells, no less, and I'm working on the footnotes) sorted thus far. It is a thing of joy - though awkwardly I keep catching myself trying to use LaTeX syntax in other contexts, now.
But in messing around with it, I realised why I have historically thought of most LaTeX output as fundamentally and unsettlingly ugly:
I hate serifed fonts. Especially as a wall of text.
