I dropped down to 30mg citalopram on Monday. Results are clearly skewed by having managed to miss bed meds (and had to catch up) three times in the previous ten days, but so far I'm not braining brilliantly, much much clumsier than usual (tripping over feet, struggling to stand for more than about 30 seconds at a time), and my sleep cycle's epically fucked. Withdrawal or just being ill? WHO KNOWS.

Citalopram withdrawal has done wonky things to us too, though that tends to be from none at all, rather than a reduced dosage - but withdrawal tends to produce brain-zaps and clumsiness.

I'd put it down to just being ill, citalopram has one of the longer half lives of SSRIs (35 hrs according to wikipedia) so withdrawal symptoms from a 25% dosage drop would be unusual and you're not mentioning the brain zaps that are the common symptom. If you're doing that dose by a combo of 10s and 20s you could always cut some 10s in half to do 35 rather than 30 for a few days.
