mild Duolingo bafflement

It seems to be the case that if, while getting a lesson to Legendary, I make a mess of a specific exercise -- then the lesson will get repeated at the end when learning French but only when learning French, not any of my other languages. It used to be that all of them had the repetition, which I found very helpful, so I continue somewhat perplexed by the apparent variation in pedagogical approach on a per-language basis...
