checking in

I have been doing a lot of healthwork and I am very tired (not least because last night was Not Good For Migraine and nor was much of today), but: there are ridiculous pointy red-and-yellow striped tulips in a neighbour's front garden, and there are slightly less ridiculous but nonetheless red-and-yellow tulips in a jug on our table, and there is yoghurt going in the Instant Pot, and there is an Extremely Enthusiastic loaf of rosemary-and-raisin sourdough put to bed in the fridge overnight, and my Pretty in Purple chilli is covered with white star-shaped flowers, with tiny crinkly petals rimed in purple and centres that are yet more purple, and the days are longer than the nights. <3
