• the next one we get (should this ever come to pass, etc etc) will not have cliff detection. I will call it Lemming.
  
• it seems to me that the manufacturers have Missed A Trick in that they have not set the things up to respond to "NO!" (or "... noooooo" or "no no no no no") by coming to an abrupt and sheepish halt and cutting the suction.
