rydra_wong, for which my liveblog went approximately: oh no I'm crying it's the sort of loving shots of landscape that get me where I live. oh no they're reading Tommy's book. I... have absolutely zero conception of how hard this is, like, exhibit A, HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO WORK OUT I COULD USE THE CHALK BAG TO DETERMINE WHAT GRAVITY WAS DOING (because my brain wouldn't believe it otherwise).
Patience, which was really very gay, and which I am stunningly failing to write up properly.
Eating. A made soup! It was cauliflower & chestnut & pea! It was tasty! We ate it!
Also he left his scarf at Tibits when we ate there on Sunday, so obviously when I went to pick it up I was Morally Obligated to also get myself takeaway lunch. Teriyaki glass noodles with edamame & coriander; carrot salad; a few tofu lumps; Knöpfli; pumpkin in paprika sauce; barley salad.
Creating. Finished the Lewisia redidiva! Started Impatiens flaccida, per yesterday, and have now filled in most of the top bits. LEAFS AND STEM TO GO.
Built an IKEA lampshade for my mother, and mostly dismantled another one, and got A to hang the former up, and she's v pleased.
Exploring. Popped into the Cambridge Zoology museum on Saturday while demoing wheelchairs and was DELIGHTED by the steampunk whale-and-turtle display Situation they have going on in the entrance hall/shop, because it is CHARMING and I am CHARMED.
Growing. Made it to the allotment. Twice! Bin fed! Raised bed structures progressed! Brambles destroyed (for now)! Bits of other weeding! I like it.
Playing. I've actually managed some horn practice! And also we have COMPLETED the horrible goose game (by which I mean "I watched Adam finish the speedruns") and now I'm doing a bunch of background reading and even watching some videos of More Ways To Be Horrible That We Hadn't Thought Of, so, you know, I might be going back to that.
Poking. SHINY KOFFING. Four shiny Chimchar, in spite of being Mostly Otherwise Occupied. Couple of v. good Pokémon from Teak Rocket raids, or at least they will be once they're purified.
