Flawless failure:

• misreading the departure time from YORK as the departure time from EDINBURGH, missing my train by nearly 2 hours, and needing to buy an on-the-day ticket
  
• getting cocoa all over my academic gown, to go with the glitter already residing in it
  
• running out of anti-depressants on Sunday lolololol
  
• meeting with supervisor is sooner than I anticipated and I am STILL stuck on the bloody mathematical models
  
• arranging to be out of the country... beginning the day of a friend's wedding, which I'd delightedly agreed to go to. WHOOPS.
  

Flawless victory:

• getting home without any meltdowns
  
• almond-gingerbread brownies
  
• filing all my wretched paperwork
  
• HAVING STUDENT FINANCE FOR NEXT YEAR
  
• much gratitude to past self bcoz Reasons
  
• acquiring a new fandom
  
• all of Captain Awkward. ALL OF IT. [I lie. I'm only about halfway through the archives.]
  
• dealing with scary e-mail WOOYAY
