I have a Thing at Royal Holloway in Egham on the 12th & 13th of November. I would really like to avoid having to fuck around with public transport from Earl's Court on both days. I don't suppose there is anyone (more approximately) in the area who'd be willing to put me up for a couple of nights...? Would be super-appreciative & could bring you a bottle of wine/box of chocolates/etc as thank-you, but am likely to be pretty knackered so will be (a) an undemanding houseguest and (b) a very boring houseguest...
