If you want to socialise with me? You do not get to make "jokes" that trivialise rape or assault, or involve laughing at survivors of same, in my presence. Ditto racism, homophobia, transphobia, general bigotry. In fact, if you're in the habit of doing so, please let me know so I can avoid you.

There are circumstances where I can't avoid that sort of thing. My free time ain't them.

And the fact that I'm scared of posting this seems to me to be a very good reason to go ahead and do so.
