Apr. 29th, 2013 09:30 pmSt Anthony of Padua's been looking out for me today: I thought I'd lost (a) my water bottle, which is kind of expensive because that turns out to be the only way to get me to drink reliably when I'm out and about; and (b) my Dicebox pendant, because the fixings keep breaking.
The former turned up on the front steps, and the latter in my binder.
Even after all this time I turn to St Anthony to give thanks. I talk a fair bit about being a third-gen immigrant; I talk rather less about the ways that plays out for me in terms of cultural Catholicism. But, hey, there we go.

(says the Hellenist Celtic Pagan, who has found he cannot leave)
