Supermarket this evening (we were in need of more eggs): cut-price tarragon. Things I do not actually cook with much: tarragon.

On the other hand I apparently feel extremely positive about experimenting with propagation, so maybe I will wind up making rhubarb & tarragon rice pudding sometime soonish, to use up the leftovers from said propagation attempt...

(Other excitements: A LEEK IS HATCHING, when I had entirely given up on same; we had tea and cake at the plot this afternoon, in a break from Doing Jobs; one of the jobs was removing Most of the plants from the house to the greenhouse.)

I can never figure out what to use tarragon with. I’ve even grown it in my garden. I suppose it might help if I were actually a cook 🤷🏼‍♀️

We put sprigs of tarragon in with our roast potatoes. I prefer this to rosemary.

I really really like tarragon, and should really propagate more of mine instead of eating it all, so that I have more of it.

One of the best things I have ever cooked was a cream of chicken-of-the-woods soup with tarragon; but it also, mixed with some yogurt and some salt and garlic, makes an excellent dip for crudités.

I like tarragon but Josh doesn't because of it's licorice-y flavor, so we rarely cook with it.
