A ridiculous and amazing Science Quilt. Full-on trompe l'oeil.

Alice & Jade Starmore's Glamourie project: amazing structural knitting accompanying story-telling. (I would really like to be able to track down a copy of the book!) The whole entire St Kilda collection!

An archive of lichen-inspired jewelry.

A metal crab inkwell-and-pen-holder (link to my reddit post because the Oxfam listing won't be up forever; context for why it's particularly funny).

Count the horses. (There's a lovely dappled-grey version but I am not managing to hunt down an original.)

Hand-knitted anatomically-correct human brain.

Mistletoe hair comb.

"Seaglass quilting" (appliqué, nonetheless very pretty).

"J & L Lobmeyr Pink Champagne Glass, circa 1900".

Those quilts are gorgeous, and the crab inkwell is fantastic (and I'm delighted to see the OG penholding crab. There's a lowpoly model I have saved on Printables to print eventually, but now I kind of want to just buy one of the fancy actual ones. We'll see!)

All of those are lovely pieces of art that I can appreciate as art. That first quilt, though, really does fool the eye well with that picture.
