So one of the things I did toward the end of the week was stab myself in the palm with the nib of the pen I was using. There was some minor bleeding (and it is possible I now have a new teal tattoo, given I was using a pigment ink...) but my major concern was, naturally, the pen itself.

I spent a little while quite worried that it was really struggling to start writing before it occurred to me to check how much ink there was left in it. It was, coincidentally, empty. Refilled it and it's fine.

(If possibly writing a slightly thicker line than previously? I got the loupe out and I think the tines are a little wider apart than I'd ideally like, but proper comparisons and possible further surgery are a tomorrow problem...)
