Reading. More Digger (Ursula Vernon), where we have now finished Chapter 6; more October Daye (Seanan McGuire), where I am now several chapters into When Sorrows Come.

Is Cassandra 18 (as of 2014) or 25 (as of 2015)? Is Walther 125ish or 60ish? Are Walther's parents the regents of Silences or not?!?!?!?!

Cooking. Hobak kobbeum, with veg*n fish sauce, to go on top of dolsot bibimbap. Definitely A Fan, Definitely Doing This Again.

Another batch of amaretti. Seelkuchen, as is traditional.

Eating. Puffball mushrooms!!!

Growing. I have dumped some parsley into the bed in the greenhouse. Greenhouse aubergines and volunteer tomato still going strong. I've brought a bunch of peppers (sweet and hot) home, plus the physalis, to see if I can overwinter them -- earlier than I needed to but we had the car at the allotment this weekend anyway so now was A Good Time to transport things, also including Ten Kilos Of Pumpkin (10 060 g, including the stalky bits and obviously their innards).

The strawberries are still going with a second round of flowers but every single fruit that's made it to almost-ripe-enough-to-eat has been Monched by Criminals before it is food for Alexes.
