• I have a reply from Yard-O-Led about the propelling pencil of Papa's that needs fixed. I should reply to this and say yes please that's fine I accept the quotation.
• I have a reply from one of the two cobblers I contacted on... Sunday? with a quotation for Fixing My Boot. So! I will wait to hear back from the other and then respond to them as well, I suppose.
• This morning I e-mailed the headache clinic to say "and by the way I forgot to mention in my appointment but, er, pain clinic referral for my non-migraine chronic pain? how is that supposed to work?" to which the answer (which I received after the eConsult system had been closed for the day...) is apparently "get GP to refer, get pain clinic to copy us in on all of the correspondence". I am mildly annoyed by this because in fact they could have referred me internally, but Oh Well. (Most of the annoyance is probably actually because the next delivery of drugs might or might not show up before I'm due my next stabs on the 18^th! Appointment to confirm I get to stay on them was on the 6^th; processing the prescription on their end takes 1-2 weeks; actually booking a delivery can take another week...)
• New fountain pen today! For A, for faffing about with Admin: the LRP. Specifically I picked up a second-hand Majohn A1 in red (which is a capless click-the-knock-at-the-end-to-extend-the-nib fountain pen) and we spent a bit of this evening faffing with it. I am yet to successfully hunt one for me; A is contemplating the merits of a second-hand Pilot nib unit to put into his...

I really like my Majohn A1. I was trying it out to see if I wanted to get the Pilot version but I think I like the Majohn better!

FWIW the Pilot nib units write REALLY smoothly, mine has bounced up to my new favorite (I still think my TWSBI is prettier, but the A1/VP frankenpen doesn't have the problem of nib leak. Or if it does it's all inside the pen where it doesn't end up on my hands, lol)

That is a good-looking fountain pen. How does capless work with them not drying out quicker, though?

THEY HAVE A WEE TRAPDOOR and also a hooded nib (so less exposure to air) but really the thing that makes the difference is being able to get the nib out and then away again one-handed while doing three things at once, which is Less Possible, As You Know, with caps, especially screw-caps. (I have one-brackets-one fountain pen that is not a screw cap and that's the one I currently use for this terrible hobby...)

Why is getting an RX delivered at the right time such a problem? This is a problem in all countries. Nobody should have a med gap.
