1. I actually filled out the big list of new-to-me-recipes so far this year.

2. The 2023 Migraine World Summit is available this weekend for free. My highlights:

   • Beyond the Pain: other migraine symptoms
   • Psychedelics for the treatment of headache disorders
   • European headache treatment update
   • What to do if your CGRP treatment doesn't help

   (Downside: this means that the two talks I missed because DST are now right there for me to watch and what that means is that I am going to want to spend Sunday (1) doing that and then (2) writing up all of the notes from Day 5 onward.)

3. I have an follow-up appointment re cyst. This involved an awful lot of faff, for reasons, and I am not thrilled with the outcome but It Will Do.

4. I have also had more UCH complaint-related faff. I am Not Dealing With It until after my second opinion appt.

5. Made it to the plot. All the Ribes are poised, coyly, to tip riotously over into LEAVES EVERYWHERE and I am very fond of them.

6. Did apt upgrade. System monospace font changed. New r bad. Attempting to work out what the previous setting was so I can change it back.

7. Join meeeeeeee in staring at this amazing collection of footwear. I... am highly likely to get some Fancy New Slippers on the grounds that they won't even cost that much more than the ridiculous fancy conditioner I am resigning myself to buying, and they'll last longer, and I am getting bored of some of the downsides of slipper socks. (Tipi, in Charcoal.) (Treet.)

8. I am crooning with delight every time there's an update from the Kickstarter for The Primordial Dreams Tarot. There are preview images! I am very excited.

9. I am sort-of learning DW Markdown (as a consequence of #1). I am annoyed by the lack of convenient superscript, but cannot really fault the reasoning.

10. I would like very much for Migraine Eats Head, Too Tired To Things to not wind up with me staying up late in faff and anxious indecision, but so it goes. Hopefully I will be in the 60% of people who respond at least partially to CGRP-targeted treatments. Hopefully I will get to find this out (1) soon, i.e. in about ten days' time for the latter and however much faff the former takes, and (2) on the NHS. Wish me luck! And goodnight.

wow, something about seeing that 2004 page on Markdown, introducing it as a new thing and listing Aaron Swartz as an active contributor...

But it didn't actually say what the reasoning is for no superscript?

Those are some very pretty footwear.

Markdown is good when you want things that are going to be readable both in text form and in HTML form. And I find myself using it for other programs and they behave the way I expect them to when I do it.

The migraine and the other woes, however, I hope can either be properly mitigated or stomped into the ground and the earth salted so they cannot rise again.
