[migraine] better hobbies etc etc etc
Oct. 16th, 2021 08:40 pmI was Suspicious earlier this week when a migraine appeared and then disappeared again before I'd even really started spotting, let alone Had A Period -- it is not unheard of for me to have oestrogen drop in two steps with a couple of days' grace in between, and that hasn't actually happened yet this year but...
... yep, I am currently on my second migraine of the week.
Dubious upside: I was due to write in to the GP on Monday to say how I was getting on with propanolol and soluble aspirin. Answer: for a sample size of n = 2 (where prior to Thursday I had been expecting n = 1!), soluble aspirin is functionally equivalent to having a migraine completely unmedicated. I am not a fan.
(But hey, I now unambiguously have chronic migraine! CAN I PLEASE BE REFERRED TO A COMPETENT NEUROLOGIST AND PRESCRIBED BOTOX ALREADY. PLEASE.)
