Thank you so much for contributing to the conversation - I'm very, very aware that I have only one perspective on this, and I am also extremely aware that I'm shouting about things that are Not My Oppression (WHICH I HAVE BEEN DOING ALL DAY on some occasions with more permission than others see also my tags) in addition to the ones that are, and I am really grateful to have people able to give me a more nuanced perspective on this set of books than my initial D: of horror.
