Also:
- we have a mortgage offer. The bank has finally deigned to consider my income income. Hopefully everything will go much more rapidly and smoothly from here.
- the DWP has received the letter that runs "you owe me 7k, and don't even think of trying to wriggle out of it -- you agreed in 2014 that I had difficulty with this thing I can apparently now do with no trouble despite me telling you I still couldn't do it". It'll be a while before the system regurgitates anything useful, but hey, progress.
- post-therapy ice-cream was apricot + sour cream, and a mint-and-cucumber sorbet that is my new best friend. The combination was great.
- I am getting an extra damn' month of medical leave and my samples are in Milton Keynes, where they need to be and were theoretically going to have been since late May.
- I bought some baby salad leaves from the reduced chiller in the supermarket and planted them out; they are much happier with more space and are living next to the tomatoes, such that when we have dinner on the patio we can pick-your-own salad.

Date: 2018-07-30 09:21 pm (UTC)Seems to get treated as potential fixed-term contract income i.e. stable til then; they seem to be perfectly happy counting my indefinite ESA Support group award and my PIP-til-early-2022 award for getting a fixed-term five-year mortgage at a favourable rate. So you're prooooooobably good, and if you're not then that's discrimination on the basis of a protected characteristic and I can help you throw the book at them.
We've been using London & Country as a mortgage broker and while they have required A LOT of chasing (like, I think A ended up making 1-2 phonecalls to them a day?) we do now have an offer that takes all of my benefits income into account and it wasn't even the benefits income that got quibbled about, so.
